Tarkir: Dragonstorm is the 104th Magic expansion and is expected to be released on April 11, 2025.[2]
Set details
“ | Fight Dragons With Dragons | ” |
The set was first teased during the 2023 Announcement Day panel at Gen Con Indiana where it was revealed that it's focused on a return to Tarkir.[2][3] R&D aims for this set to combine the best features of Khans of Tarkir and Dragons of Tarkir as a "best of both worlds" solution to the fan reception of the original block. The set features both Dragons and factionalized gameplay.[4]
Ugin's influence can be felt across the entire set through a special Ghostflame card treatment found on 10 cards.[5]
Storyline
The set marks the conclusion of the Dragonstorm Arc. Dragons are pouring out through dragonstorms all over the plane.[6] As the dragons take flight across the skies of Tarkir, each flap of their wings rips through the Omenpaths. The five resurgent clans of Tarkir strike back against this threat to the Multiverse.[7]
