Five Dragonstorm Commander Decks are released together with Tarkir: Dragonstorm on April 11, 2025.[2]

Description

Each deck introduces 10 never-before-seen Commander cards to Magic: The Gathering. These consist of two borderless traditional foil mythic rare creatures and eight rare new-to-Magic cards in the default card frame. Non-foil borderless mythic rare creatures and extended-art new-to-Magic rare cards can be found in Collector Boosters.[3]

New Dragonstorm Commander cards with the TDC set code numbered #1-50 (and their extended art versions numbered #51-90) are permitted in the Commander, Legacy, and Vintage formats. Returning cards with the TDC set code and numbered #91-413 are legal for play in any format where a card with the same name is permitted.[4]

Multiple reprints in the Commander decks have new art (#91-107), almost all suited to the Dragonstorm theme. The one exception is Shadow Summoning, which is set on Innistrad.
