Daniel Xu is a Senior Magic: The Gathering game designer at Wizards of the Coast.
History
His education and upbringing have cultivated interests in Physics, Art, and U.S.-China relations.[1] As a recent university graduate studying math and physics, Xu joined the company in November 2021.[2] Mark Rosewater considers him to be super talented and predicts a bright future as a Magic designer for him.[3] In January 2025, Daniel accepted a position as a senior designer on the MTG Arena team.[4]
