Alchemy: Tarkir is a Magic: The Gathering Arena-exclusive card set in the Alchemy series that was released on April 29, 2025.[3][4]
Description
Alchemy: Tarkir is a digital only release adjacent to the release of Tarkir: Dragonstorm. There are 30 new designed-for-digital cards included in the set (10 uncommons, 15 rares, 5 mythic rares).[5] The set takes place on Tarkir.
Tarkir: Dragonstorm commanders
The ten face cards from the five Tarkir: Dragonstorm Commander decks are release in parallel to the Alchemy: Tarkir release.[6] They can only be obtained through crafting wildcards of the appropriate rarity. The cards retain their original set code (TDC) and expansion symbol ().
Mechanics
The digital-only mechanics Boon, Conjure, Double team, Draft, Not the starting player, Perpetually, Seek, and Spellbook are reused. All new keyword mechanics from the main set, Behold, Endure, Flurry, Harmonize, Mobilize, and Renew are used while channel, exhaust, landfall, manifest, prowess, and suspend make cameo appearances.
New Dragons with Omens have been included in the set, primarily in blue. Alchemy: Tarkir introduces Magic's first kindred Dragon spell in Dragon Typhoon.

Post-preview changes
Three cards were finalized very late in the release process and, due to the timing, the changes were not communicated properly to Wizards marketing team and partners.[8][9] These cards were previewed with incorrect information. The finalized cards were corrected in the Tarkir: Dragonstorm card image gallery and on Arena itself.
