Part of Tendo Peaks, Sokenzan

Untaidake, called the Cloud Keeper (uhn-teye-DAH-kay;[1] Japanese: (うん) (たい) (だけ) ; literally: "Cloud Belt Peak"; Kamigawan: lit. "cloud keeper"), is the largest mountain in all of Kamigawa, stretching impossibly far into the sky.

Description

It's so tall that it transcends mere "Mountain"-ness so that its mana can only be used for the most powerful and legendary creatures.[2] The bleak white spire of Untaidake Peak rose like the polished bones of some fallen giant.[3]

History

The yamabushi Ryusaki Kumano lived at the base of Untaidake, and during the Kami War, this was where he fought and defeated the great kami Kakkazan.[3]
