Kawabe Province an area on plane of Kamigawa, situated along the Yumegawa River between Lake Kamitaki and the sea.
History
Kawabe Province is where Lady Azami Ozu was from. It was here she met a river kami that tricked her into believing she would obtain all the world's knowledge in exchange for "everything". This led Azami on a quest for knowledge that led to the deaths of her mother, her friend Etsumi Urano, and the head librarian at Minamo, Atsuko Shimazaki, but also led to Azami's elevation into the head librarian of that esteemed academy.[1]
