Shirei (SHEE-ray)[1] is a kami from Kamigawa who was active during the Kami War.
Description
Shirei is the kami of the disgraced and abandoned battlefield called Shizo. It acts as a kind of shepherd of the dead.[2] Its haunting appearance is that of a floating white-robed and hooded apparition with black dry skin, too many bulbous green eyes and tiny sharp teeth. A wooden grave marker is strapped to its back with numerous red ropes, and several lit cemetery braziers circle its head.[3]
