Masumaro (MAH-soo-MAH-roh;[1] masu 増す "increase," "grow" or "double" + maro まろ male suffix)[2][3] First to Live, is a kami on Kamigawa that was once a human.
Description
Masumaro has retained some of his human shape, appearing as a robed monk with budoka equipment and a long green grass robe. His kami aspects are visible in that his face is surrounded by brightly glowing serpentine coils, forming a crown of light on his bald head while lotus flowers float in the air around him.[4]
History
Masumaro was the first human on Kamigawa to live by the ways of the kami. He was once so revered by his people that his spirit became a kami. His descendants were still active during the Kami War.
