He Who Hungers is a kami spirit of Kamigawa who was active during the time of the Kami War.
Description
He Who Hungers is a legendary kami spirit of hunger who debuted in Champions of Kamigawa. It appears as a large flying worm-like creature whose head is a large maw. It potentially consumes other spirits based on its abilities. It allows the player to sacrifice a spirit to choose a card from an opponent's hand to discard. It also has the soulshift ability, allowing for a spirit to be returned from the graveyard on its death representing the spirit escaping from inside it.
