Junji is a dragon spirit originating from Kamigawa. He is the reincarnated form of the ancient dragon Kokusho.
History
Unlike many other divine dragon spirits who perished during the catastrophic Kami War, Kokusho survived that conflict but ultimately met his end several decades later while defending the inhabitants of Takenuma from a brutal oni assault. Following his death, he was reborn as Junji. However, Junji chose to sever ties with the swampy region of Takenuma, abandoning its people and leaving them to face their challenges. Instead, he established his domain within the intricate network of canals beneath Towashi's Undercity. There, his silent but imposing presence acts as an unspoken deterrent, preventing Reckoner gangs from escalating their violent turf battles beyond certain limits.[1]
