The Myojin of Infinite Rage is the Myojin kami of passion and red magic on Kamigawa.[1]
Description
The Myojin had a powerful presence. A giant, ornate wooden throne floated above a pile of burning logs. A small jade and ruby statue sat in the center of the throne, a different weapon in each of its six arms. The statue and the throne were surrounded by bright red flames that flickered too slowly as if the fire was somehow heavier and denser than those of the bonfire. In these flames, a kind of face floated above the throne and had multiple arms on each side. Some of the limbs carried beads, some carried fans, but most carried swords, pikes, and other bladed weapons. These arms and items rotated around the central figure on the throne, floating like bubbles in oil.[2]
History
During the final months of the Kami War, the Myojin of Infinite Rage gathered his worshipers to launch a large attack against Eiganjo Castle. As O-Kagachi had already attacked the citadel, the Myojin's forces had to deal with the samurai protecting the Eiganjoan refugees as well as Yosei, the Morning Star. It is not known how it is related to the Myojin of Roaring Blades which also represents an aspect of red magic.
