The elves chose to keep Joram until he was 14 before casting him out. Given an artifact that grew his horns by the treefolk witch Amur Brokenlimb, he brought it back to his tribe, only for it to kill them all. He was left with the artifact until he could trick another to take it from him.[14] | |
