Raven's Run (also called Ravens' Run[1]) is the gloomy and dangerous Shadowmoor counterpart of Wren's Run.[2]
History
After the latest Great Aurora, the only safehold left in the forest was Strongroot. This was where Joram was born and raised, until he was evicted from the village at 14 years of age for having no horns. Outside the safety of Strongroot's walls, Joram met the Canker witch treefolk Amur Brokenlimb, who gave him the copper sphere, which granted him the wish of getting horns. Renaming himself Joram Twohorns, he returned to Strongroot with the sphere, but its payment caused the Canker curse to spread to the safehold's defenders, and it fell to Amur's black poplars. In the ruins of the safehold, Amur then gave Joram the sphere until he could find someone else to take it from him. Afterwards, there were no safeholds at all in Raven's Run.[1]
