Ballynock is a kithkin doun in Shadowmoor. Its Lorwyn counterpart is Ballyrush.
Description
Ballynock is an uninviting doun built on a pasture. High, spiked walls encircle grim-looking houses surrounding a tall and imposing watchtower. The largest open space among the doun's tight confines is Trapper's Square, which is crowded with market stalls where hunters sell their spoils alongside merchants selling supplies and weapons. Ballynock's claustrophobic streets contain visible traps meant to keep intruders at bay.[1]
A haven for hunters and trappers, Ballynock is home to 200 residents. Almost all are kithkin, though a few elves and rimekin also live here. The residents have a penchant for wearing hoods.[2] Smiths and engineers work together to create new ways to capture prey both in the wild and on the battlefield.[1]
The city's defense is led by Watch Commander Cadri Kelken.[1]
