Wydwen, the Biting Gale, was a mysterious legendary faerie character from Lorwyn–Shadowmoor.
Background
Wydwen appears as a blue skinned female faerie with red hair, dragonfly-like wings, and wearing a black dress. Little is known about her beyond the following description:[1]
| “ | Wydwen is much too cool for you. Faeries travel in small groups called cliques—and for Wydwen, it's literally a popularity contest. She comes and goes as she desires, leaving snorted insults in her wake, and doesn't give the time of day to anybody—creature or planeswalker—who she sees as beneath her. | ” |
It was also said that in a world of bright, cloudless skies, she is the dark storm on the horizon.[2]
