Caer Flur is an elf safehold and the largest settlement in Shadowmoor. Its Lorwyn counterpart is called Lys Gaerlinon.
Description
Caer Flur is a relatively young elf safehold in Shadowmoor.[1][2] The largest settlement in Shadowmoor, it holds 500, mostly composed of elves alongside a small number of kithkin. Inhabitants live in wooden structures that cling to dead trees or in shell-like tents. The village is lit by beautiful purple lanterns. Structures are interspersed with artistry from different elven clans. Farmers and builders of all sorts bustle to keep the new settlement in good order. The safehold is led by Lead Farmer Taylin
Deep within Caer Flur is the Eluvian, an enormous tree the elves use as a gathering place. The elves have lovingly carved structures into the tree that house beautiful objects of all kinds, from the magical to the practical. Anyone can ask to use something stored within the Eluvian; the cost usually involves contributing something even more beautiful to take its place.[1]
History
Caer Flur was founded after the fall of Oona in 4562. Elves of every clan in Shadowmoor helped to build it.[2]
