Kaito is a human cyber Ninja and Planeswalker from Kamigawa.[1][2] He made his debut in Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty.
Appearance and characteristics
Kaito is a young man of eighteen years with shaven hair, usually dressed in black and dark blue clothes.[3] He is trained as a samurai by the kitsune Light-Paws. Kaito has pickpocket, skulking, and fighting skills, and access to blue and black mana. He wears an unknown device strapped along his chin and cheek, and a tanuki mask.
History
Origins
Early on in his life, Kaito grew up with his sister Eiko as orphans in the Imperial Palace in service of the emperor, whom he befriended.
Neon Dynasty
After the emperor was attacked by a mysterious man with a metal arm in the temple of Kyodai, she disappeared. Because the other Imperials didn't believe what he had seen, 16-year old Kaito left the castle and joined the Hyozan Reckoners to search for answers on his own.[3]
Kaito became a planeswalker whem he came in contact with Himoto, the Kami of the Spark. Himoto now lives in the mechanized origami tanuki robot that Kaito carries with him or wears as a mask.
