Mezlok was a proud young human planeswalker and wizard. He was the great-grandson of Minoch. Taishiar was his servant.
Mezlok's Challenge
Mezlok, with his companion Taishiar, hoped to compete in a contest of mages on Mirrankkar. Due to a run-in with a rival on Obsidias, they arrived the day before the contest and had only that day to find a city or town that would accept him to duel for them.[1]
Mezlok made a link with the forest he arrived in, and then let a child lead them to the village of Gordahn, where the chief offered him the position of duelist that had been claimed by their village warder Jehadt.[1] Jehadt was offended by this and challenged Mezlok to a duel. He lost and teleported away, hoping to face Mezlok again someday.[2]
Mezlok, chosen by Gordahn, was the final entry in the contest.[2]
