The Oxidda Chain or Oxidda Mountains used to be a series of large slopes and elevated plateaus of rusted iron structures on Mirrodin.[1][2] Above it shone the Sky Tyrant.
Description
The Oxidda Chain bordered on the Glimmervoid, and the Mephidross slowly encroached on it.
Vulshok barbarians lived there, working their forges for trade, and Goblins resided in the Chain as well. Kuldotha, the Great Furnace, lay on the inside of a gargantuan hollow mountain. Molten metal came from the bowels of Kuldotha, and it was the hallowed ground and home for the Cult of Krark, as well as for the worshippers of the Steel Mother. The Red Lacuna was somewhere within the Oxidda Chain, near the Great Furnace.
After the phyrexian compleation of Mirrodin, the plane's former surface was rendered a wasteland known as the Mirrex. The fate of the Oxidda Chain is unknown, but it was likely transported to the Autonomous Furnace, New Phyrexia's third layer.
