Bosh was a golem that lived on Mirrodin. Just like his companion Glissa, he sought the truth. His truth was his lost memory, and an understanding of his place in a world he no longer recognized.[1]
History
Bosh was created by Memnarch to help him with his duties and quests. Specifically, he was tasked with clearing away the mycosynth from Mirrodin's Core, a task which he failed at. At some point, he was deactivated and abandoned in the Mephidross, where he was found by Slobad. Likely due to the toxic dross's effects, Bosh had amnesia, which was slowly falling away, until his memories were fully restored by entering the Pool of Knowledge.[2]
Throughout his travels with Glissa and Slobad, Bosh's metallic body slowly transformed into flesh. This process was accelerated while he was in Mirrodin's Core, and eventually even his face became fully fleshed, giving him the ability to use a full range of facial expressions. However, Bosh met his demise when Glissa summoned the Kaldra avatar, which Memnarch took control of and ordered to capture Glissa. Bosh saved his friend one last time, becoming trapped in Kaldra's grip instead of Glissa. As Glissa and Slobad tearfully fled the scene, Bosh's fleshy body was crushed in Kaldra's giant grip.[3][4]
The praetors of New Phyrexia incorporated parts of Bosh in the compleated form of Slobad.
