Karumonix is a Phyrexian rat entity inhabiting the plane of New Phyrexia.
Description
Though Mirrodin was designed to be a flawless, metallic world, it was never truly free from infestation. The rats that originally came to Mirrodin multiplied rapidly, and their numbers only swelled further after the Mirran-Phyrexian War. Eventually, these creatures turned their voracious appetites inward, consuming one another to merge into a singular, more formidable entity. The bones, flesh, and piercing cries of countless rats fused into a collective consciousness that named itself Karumonix. This unified hivemind possesses the extraordinary ability to detect and control its rat kin scattered throughout New Phyrexia, coordinating them with a single will.[1]
