Nimbys of Tharkair was a planeswalker who traveled to the Isle of Indigo where he met its people, including Ruannon and Alandrah and their son Peter Langwynd.

History

After helping the village in a few ways, like curing sickness and destroying the giant sea monster that sank the Indigents' fishing boats sometimes, he left them. Then people began to vanish. Ruannon was one of the first, summoned to a distant battlefield by Nimbys, where he was killed. Nimbys sent him back with a heap of gold and an enchanted dagger as weregild. Later, he summoned Alandrah, but Peter clung to her as she was summoned, and he was brought with her. She was turned into an archer and killed in the battle fighting on behalf of Nimbys, just like Ruannon had. Enraged, Peter found Nimbys on the battlefield and stabbed him in the heart with the enchanted dagger, but it did not kill Nimbys, nor even really wound him. Nimbys explained he was fighting for what he called "the Cause" and tried to recruit Peter, but he refused both that and the offer of being returned to his home on the Isle of Indigo, Nimbys let Peter go to live in Foulmere where he had been summoned.[1]
