The Rift is a legendary land and mysterious hand shaped depression on an unknown plane.

Description

The Rift is a large hand-shaped depression located on a rocky and mountainous area of an unknown plane. The depression is filled with water creating a lake surrounded by large cliffs. The land allows the player to start with it in their opening hand before Mulligans, at the cost of drawing a smaller hand. It is a novel way to limit mana screw, guaranteeing the land in the player's hand every game. As it has only been featured on a test card, it is likely considered a non-canon location.
