Rubinia Soulsinger is a legendary faerie from an unknown plane and an unknown time period. She was featured in the Legends card set.
Description
By simply speaking truth and wisdom, Rubinia has the power to sway others and the integrity to know what is right, even in the face of adversity. The coldest warrior would readily join her cause.[1]
Rubinia is masterful at taking over the souls of those who trespass in her realm: she takes over the fate of the trespassers, binding them with magical runes written in ink. Interestingly enough, she is a faerie who cannot fly. [2]
Given that Rubinia's lifetime is unknown, and Legendary creatures from the Legends set are from many points in time, she may be long deceased, currently alive, or even yet to be born.
Trivia
- Rubinia was originally called "Titania," but that name was already used in Antiquities.[3]
- The model for Rubinia Soulsinger depictions in Legends was Carol Monahan, the first head of sales at Wizards of the Coast.[4]
