Aeve, Progenitor Ooze, is an ancient ooze from an unknown plane.
History
In the beginning, there was only a churning, shapeless mass — a primordial soup waiting for a spark.[1] When a sudden flash of lightning struck, it sent a surge of energy rippling through the swirling matter, setting in motion the plane's first breath of life. From that single jolt emerged Aeve, the very first living being to inhabit this world. Some believe that this ancient, oozing form became the origin point for every other creature that would ever crawl, swim, or fly across the plane.
For billions of years, life branched out in countless directions, evolving into an astonishing array of shapes and forms.[1] Forests rose, seas teemed with strange new beings, and civilizations came and went — but through it all, Aeve remained. Though life on the plane has transformed again and again, this primeval ooze has endured unchanged, a living relic from the dawn of existence. To this day, Aeve drifts through the ages, timeless and unyielding.
