Visit is a keyword ability on Attractions that debuted in Unfinity.[1]

Description

When you have an Attraction on the battlefield, at the beginning of your first main phase on each of your turns, you Roll to Visit Your Attractions by rolling a six-sided die. If the result is lit up on an Attraction you control, you visit that Attraction, causing that Attraction's visit ability to trigger.

Triggered by visiting

Some cards have a triggered ability when you visit an attraction:

Rules

From the glossary of the Comprehensive Rules (June 7, 2024—Modern Horizons 3)

Visit
A keyword ability found on Attraction cards. It provides an effect whenever you roll to visit your attractions and get certain results. See rule 702.159, “Visit.”

From the Comprehensive Rules (June 7, 2024—Modern Horizons 3)

  • 702.159. Visit
    • 702.159a Visit is a keyword ability found on Attraction cards (see rule 717). “Visit — [Effect]” means “Whenever you roll to visit your Attractions, if the result is equal to a number that is lit up on this Attraction, [effect].” See rule 701.49, “Roll to Visit Your Attractions.”
    • 702.159b Some Attractions instruct a player to “claim the prize,” followed by a second paragraph that starts with the word “Prize” and a long dash. This text is part of its visit ability. To claim the prize of an Attraction, perform the actions listed after the long dash.

Rulings

  • You visit Attractions only for the special die roll or if a card specifically tells you to Roll to Visit Your Attractions. Other die rolls caused by spells and abilities won't cause visit abilities to trigger.
