Intensity is a designed-for-digital, MTG Arena-specific mechanic introduced in Alchemy: Kamigawa.
Description
Intensity is a form of marking numerical values on a card, much like the old charge counter mechanic but phrased in a way to be perpetually tracked across zones as only digital cards can. For example: Static Discharge, having used counters in its first print, has been errataed to use Intensity. Dragonspark Reactor is one of the more recent designs that uses regular charge counters.
