Alchemy: Aetherdrift is a Magic: The Gathering Arena-exclusive card set in the Alchemy series that was released on March 4, 2024.[3]
Description
Alchemy: Aetherdrift is a digital only release adjacent to the release of Aetherdrift. There are thirty new designed-for-digital cards included in the set (10 uncommons, 15 rares, 5 mythic rares).[4] The cards are set across the planes of Avishkar, Amonkhet, and Muraganda.
Mechanics
The digital-only mechanics Conjure, Double team, Draft, Intensity, Not the starting player, Perpetually, Seek, and Spellbook are reused. From the main set, Exhaust, Max speed, Start your engines!, and Saddle are reused.
Jump-start, Improvise, Overload, and Unearth make cameo appearances.

Alchemy: Aetherdrift introduces the Wreck counter on Spectacle of Destruction.

- Masterpiece Vault is named, in part, after the Masterpiece Series.
- Sala, Deck Boss is a visual reference to Davy Jones from the Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise.
Into the Future event
The Into the Future event for Alchemy: Aetherdrift was held on Magic: The Gathering Arena between March 4 and 6, 2025[6][7]. It featured five phantom preconstructed decks intended to highlight how new cards could be used in the Alchemy format.
