Specialize is a designed-for-digital, MTG Arena-specific mechanic introduced in Alchemy Horizons: Baldur's Gate.

Description

Specialize is mostly seen on reimagined cards. They feature a circled upward pointing triangle in the upper left corner of the card, indicating that it is able to transform..

You may pay mana and discard a card of your choice to transform the card with Specialize into one of five different other cards (the change depends on the color or land type you discarded). This makes it essentially a sextuple-faced card.
