Secret Lair Drop Series: Li'l Giri Saves the Day is a drop in the Secret Lair product range and a continuation of the Secret Lair Drop Series. It was available for pre-order purchase from the Wizards of the Coast webshop secretlair.wizards.com as part of the Magic 30 Festival in a Box promotion, starting August 11, 2022.^[2] It also was available at Magic 30 on October 28-30, 2022.^[3]

Description

Help the brave food fighter Li'l Giri save the day in these five adorable cards with art by kawasumi. This timeless story of derring-do, told across the card art and flavor text, is the perfect addition to any deck or collection.

The Onigiri character Li'l Giri was previously seen on three alternate art Orb of Dragonkind Riceball promos by illustrator Kawasumi. These were released together with Adventures in the Forgotten Realms in Japan only.^[4]

While Festival in a Box was not a time-boxed to demand item like other Secret Lair offerings, it was a limited quantity product that was available while supplies lasted.^[5]

Arena tie-ins

Magic: The Gathering Arena released a special Li'l Giri avatar for Magic 30 and a set of sleeves. The L'il Giri Sleeve Bundle was available in the MTGA store from October 28 at 8 a.m. PDT until November 4 at 8 a.m. PDT. This bundle contained five sleeves and was available for 300 gems or 1,500 gold.
