An Encyclopedia of Magic is a product in the Secret Lair product range. This Countdown Kit became available for purchase from the Wizards of the Coast webshop secretlair.wizards.com on November 3, 2025.[2][3] It sold out immediately.
Description
Similar to the 30th Anniversary Countdown Kit, this is a special Secret Lair that can be used as Advent calendar to count the days of Advent in anticipation of Christmas. Each copy of An Encyclopedia of Magic is a book-like box containing 26 individually wrapped Magic cards. There is one card for each letter of the alphabet, each with its own distinct art, theme and surprise. It features a different artist on every card — some of who are bringing their talents to Magic for the very first time. An Encyclopedia of Magic was a limited-run product and cost $199.99 USD.
As a bonus, each card had a chance to be upgraded to traditional foil or halo foil.
