Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder is a legendary human ally from Zendikar.
History
A Goma Fada native, Bruse Tarl was once a humble nomadic herder known mostly for the colorful manner in which he motivated his oxen. After swarms of Eldrazi monsters started to spread across the continent of Akoum, threatening to annihilate his caravan, Bruse organized a resistance force of nomads. After dozens of battles, the fame of his feats against the Eldrazi is only exceeded by the creativity of the insults he hurls at them.[1]
After the defeat of Ulamog and Kozilek, Bruse Tarl continues to hurl creative insults at his herd.
Thunder Junction
At some point, Bruse found his way onto Thunder Junction through an Omenpath. Here, he's become a willing caretaker of adoring oxen from all over the Multiverse.[2] While he enjoys how the herds there listen to him, he's annoyed that the plants there have an attitude he's not used to seeing.[3] Based on his apparel, he might have joined the Freestriders faction on the plane.
