Moraug is a ferocious minotaur warrior from the rugged region of Akoum on Zendikar.
History
Unlike some of his kin who dwell in scattered clans or rough settlements, Moraug has rejected any semblance of society and roams the untamed wilds instead. He stalks his territory like a beast, hunting game when he can, or turning on passing humanoids when prey grows scarce.
Moraug's horns are said to be massive and wickedly curved, possibly the largest ever grown by a minotaur. A thriving black market trades in minotaur horns for their supposed value, and a pair as huge as Moraug's could fetch a fortune—enough to sustain someone for life. Yet any poacher who dares to claim such a prize often ends up skewered on those same horns, paying the ultimate price for their greed.[1]
