Seble is a Zendikari skyrider elf, part of Gideon's forces during the Battle for Zendikar.
Description
Seble rides an enormous blue and white flying manta. She may look slightly out of place riding it, but not uncomfortable. She kneels tall, her back straight, and she wields a spear.
History
During the Battle for Zendikar, Seble acted as a scout, her flying manta giving her good vantage points. As the refugees started trickling into Sky Rock, Seble flew down to Gideon with news of trouble. A smothering abomination was gaining on one group of refugees from the south, and its flight allowed it to approach unnoticed.
Gideon joined Seble on the manta, and they flew up to meet the Eldrazi in the air. Seble stabbed it with her spear and Gideon used his sural, but the creature barely noticed. Instead, Gideon whipped his sural around it, pulling himself onto its back, and drove it crashing to the ground, tearing its tentacles off with his sural.
After Gideon received command of the army, Seble was among the many who cheered when he announced that they would be reclaiming the Sea Gate, and participated in the battle to take it back. Afterward, Seble resumed her flying sentry duties, and she initially spotted Chandra moving through some trees, but could not locate her after that, as the pyromancer was hiding to remain unseen.
After Gideon asked Seble to double team with another skyrider for safety, she cried out in alarm and reined her manta back. She was the first to spot it, looming on the distant horizon, headed directly for them - the Titan Ulamog.
