Taborax is a notorious demon originating from the plane of Zendikar.
History
Following the tumultuous rise and subsequent fall of the Eldrazi, many inhabitants of Zendikar came to believe that their gods had abandoned or turned against them.[1] Amid this growing sense of despair, those already drawn to darker impulses increasingly sought refuge in the worship and servitude of demons. Among these malevolent entities, Taborax has succeeded in gathering the largest cult, whose followers believe that he alone can shield them from any future Eldrazi threat.
Though Taborax occasionally grants fragments of his power to his most faithful adherents as a demonstration of favor, he ensures that the tribute and loyalty he demands in return far exceed what he bestows, maintaining a ruthless control over his devotees.[1]
