Vado Thal is a merfolk wizard ally from Zendikar.
History
Vado Thal is a a famed field scholar and linguist who was trained at the Lighthouse at Sea Gate. As a student of ancient languages, Vado analyzed the lore and relics "acquired" by his fellow adventurers, and in turn fed them clues about what to expect in the ruins ahead.[1] He has been referred to as a living library and loremaster.
