Alchemy: Kamigawa is a MTG Arena-exclusive card set that was released on March 17, 2022. It is the second set in the Alchemy-series.[4][5]

Description

Digital booster

Alchemy: Kamigawa is a digital only release adjacent to the release of Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty. There are 30 new designed-for-digital cards included in the set (5 uncommons, 20 rares, 5 mythic rares). All of the cards are set on Kamigawa.

As with all previous Alchemy cards, the cards of this set had the MTG Arena "A" as a "foil stamp" at the central bottom of the card. The set also features the A22 expansion symbol.

Mechanics

The digital-only mechanics Conjure, Perpetually and Seek that were introduced in Jumpstart: Historic Horizons all return in this set. The Spellbook mechanic from Alchemy: Innistrad also sees a return. Apart from that, there are also random effects influencing cards in your hand (e.g. Foundry Beetle) or library (e.g. Junkyard Scrapper).

The set introduces the Intensity mechanic, a form of perpetually marking numerical values on a card.
