Lovisa Coldeyes was the Balduvian chieftain near the end of the Ice Age of Dominaria.[2]
Description
Lovisa was a very massive, muscular, and powerful woman who commanded respect from all warriors.[3][4] She dressed in furs, leather and armor. Lovisa had blonde hair, which was very rare for a Balduvian.[2] 20 years after Lim-Dûl's Battle, she had not changed much, still using the same style of clothes, and still powerfully built, with only a few locks of silver in her fair hair.[5]
History
A close acquaintance of Jaya Ballard, Lovisa was instrumental in assisting Jodah after the failed coup of the Lat-Nam. Lovisa harbored the duo in the Kjeldoran Hinterlands until Jodah's sanity had been restored. As the leader of a majority of the Balduvian people, she was instrumental in the war against Lim-Dûl when Jodah enlisted their assistance. She participated in and survived Lim-Dûl's Battle, the last battle of the Ice Age.[2]
Her son, Lothar Lovisason, fell in love with and married King Darien's daughter Alexandrite. This marriage united Balduvia and Kjeldor, giving birth to the nation of New Argive.[5]
After leading an unsuccessful siege on Rimewind Keep, she was captured and killed by Heidar when she refused to surrender.[1].
