Belenda Danisdotter was a human soldier from the Ice Age, and friend of Jaya Ballard.

The Lhurgoyf

As a fresh skyknight, Belenda received orders from the queen of Kjeldor to get rid of a lhurgoyf that was prowling outside one of the cities, hunting for the Balduvian, Fedor Vohnnson, imprisoned in a cell in the city. Belenda shared information about her mission with her friend Jaya Ballard, who volunteered to fix the problem of the lhurgoyf as long as Belenda secured a release order for Fedor. Belenda reluctantly agreed, and Jaya completed the mission as promised.[1]

The Eternal Ice

A few years later, after the queen's death and ascension of her son, Darien, Belenda fell under the sway of the Kjeldoran hero Márton Stromgald and his spokesman in Kjeld, Avram Garrison. Belenda listened to their words of Kjeldoran supremacy and vowed to join their fight against the Balduvians. Belenda met Jaya again, and flew her to the edge of the Karplusan Mountains, but then secretly headed to Tresserhorn instead of going back to Krov. There, Belenda swore her life to Márton Stromgald, and in return, he killed her, and let Lim-Dûl raise her as an undead skyknight. Belenda later participated in Lim-Dûl's Battle, where she faced off against her former friend, Jaya. Though Jaya was anguished seeing her, she ended Belenda's undead existence. As she lay dying, Belenda thanked the Task Mage for this deed.[2]
