The Battle of Pitdown was a skirmish during the Dark Age on Terisiare, Dominaria.

Description

At the time, the Ghed army tried to intimidate the farms in the surrounding area into selling their harvests south instead of north. Unfortunately, Alsoor's army (which had elven mercenaries from the Shattered Isles) was doing the same. What started as military maneuvers became a full-fledged war.

The two armies eventually met in the Battle of Pitdown, where the two armies were attacked by a third faction: goblins. The remnants of the two armies united to beat back the goblins. During the battle, a fleeing Jodah came to the deserted city of Pitdown, and hid from goblin raiders in a Fountain of Youth, gaining immortality. A week later, the war ended after the Church of Tal negotiated a peace.
