Ohran Ridge is a line of mountains that stretches from the larger Ohran Mountains on Gulmany, part of the Terisian Isles of Dominaria.
History
During the Ice Age, the Ohran Ridge was the southwestern part of the Colekgan Mountains, the only part of the range that remained clear of the glaciers. The rest of the range had been mostly buried under snow and only became accessible once again after the Thaw when both the Great Glacier and Ronom Glacier melted. The mountain range then became the center of Gulmany and became known as the Ohran Mountains. The Ohrans are home to cold-thriving snakes and fierce yetis.
After the Thaw, the Ohran Ridge housed the cottage of Xantcha and Urza for a period. The cottage was located in a crease of the land, where grass fields stopped and the naked mountains began. Mostly the weather was cool and wet, cold and damp, or something in between. The ridge lay to the north of Morvern and Baszerat.[1]
Urza returned to the cabin in Ohran Ridge some 300 years later while working on the Bloodline project. He had one line of genetics going in Efuan Pincar and hoped to use these genes to replenish a promising Femeref genetic line, which had been all but lost when Davvol transported that line's home area to Rath. While at the cabin, Urza was attacked by Phyrexian negators, and the cabin was burned down in the struggle.[2]
