Alante	Alante, Cleric of the Five Sacraments	A vampire cleric of the Order of the Five Sacraments, a sect that favors trade with the Sun Empire over conquest. Stationed at Conqueror's Foothold to administer last rites, she secretly turned against the fort's cruel overseer, Vona de Iedo, after uncovering her plan to seize the Hierophant's Chalice — a legendary artifact hidden in the Temple of Aclazotz by the prophet Arguel. Stealing Vona's treasure map, Alante freed the fort's condemned prisoners to help her reach the temple first. Guided by an enthralled Mavren Fein, they braved the jungle, defeated the demon Zotz, and reclaimed the chalice from Arguel's corpse. 	The Apostasine Princes	Two brothers who marshaled their armies against their older sister, starting the Apostasine War which eventually led to the foundation of the Legion of Dusk.
Arran Vela		A Legion of Dusk cleric who was duped by Tomin Greer into giving away a holy relic, the finger bone of Varrianos in exchange for an amber-studded weapon allegedly able to control dinosaurs.
Arrando Caveres		A Legion of Dusk vampire, son of the governmor of Leor. He eloped together with Captain Zara Vast and they ended up in High and Dry making a huge brawl and absconding with captain Bentblade's ship.
Artinoq	Artinoq, Atzocan Archer	A scout in the Emperor's Vanguard under the command of his father, Rouxil. A natural leader and selfless soldier, he has long sought to prove himself worthy of one day succeeding his father when Rouxil retires from the field. However, during a final reconnaissance mission to Conqueror's Foothold, Artinoq and his father were captured in a brutal counterattack by the Legion of Dusk and sentenced to death — until Alante intervened and secured their freedom. Like his father, Artinoq desires peace, but after a career spent fighting for the Sun Empire, his place in a stable realm remains uncertain. When the goblins overloaded a firecannon, the Relentless exploded; Ellie survived, washing ashore near Conqueror's Foothold with Turk Two Coins. Captured and sentenced to death for piracy against the Legion of Dusk, they were freed by Alante. Ravian	High Marshal of the Blood-Stained	A brooding woman who spent more than a year as a captive in the Blood Crypt of the Not-Fort. She was freed by her order and has since sworn a vow of silence until the Not-Fort is razed.

Rouxil	Rouxil, Emperor's Vanguard	Rouxil and his son Artinoq are members of the Emperor's Vanguard, an elite force fighting the Legion of Dusk since their arrival. Captured while scouting the defenses of Conqueror's Foothold, they were the only survivors of their patrol and sentenced to death. Impressed by their skill, Alante freed them to aid her mission. Rouxil backs Alante's plan, believing the Order of the Five Sacraments could sway the Legion toward trade with the Sun Empire, ending the conflict in Ixalan’s contested region.	Emperor's Vanguard

Turk Two Coins	Turk Two Coins, Ruthless Knave	Turk lives for plunder and glory as one of the Fathom Fleet's lead boarders, crushing resistance on captured ships by force or fear. His last raid on a Legion of Dusk galleon went awry when a firecannon explosion hurled him from the Relentless. He and the first mate washed ashore near Conqueror's Foothold, where Legion soldiers recognized and imprisoned them. Freed by Alante to help find an artifact, Turk is sure there's more treasure to be had and plans to claim enough to spend the rest of his days in debauchery.	Ruthless Knave

Velisha	Velisha, Shaper of Highbranch	Velisha is a shaper who weaves nature magic and guides her forest tribe of Highbranch. Hired by a Legion of Dusk lieutenant under Vona to escort a patrol back to Conqueror's Foothold, she was accused of aiding theft and captured when she resisted. Zara Vast	Captain Vast	A ship's captain who raided Leor and eloped with the governor's son, Arrando Caveres. They fled to High and Dry where Captain Bentblade attempted to cheat her at dice in order to claim the ransom on the vampire's head, but Zara instead ran him through, and she and Arrando absconded with Bentblade's ship.
Zotz		A demon-spawn of Aclazotz, who laired in the Temple of Aclazotz where he enslaved Mavren Fein for a time. Killed by the cleric Alante and her party, who freed Mavren from the demon's thrall.
