Steward Akal Pakal is the human leader of the Oltec on Ixalan. She is the sister of Anim Pakal.

Description

Pakal wears layers of blue, green, and gold ceremonial robes with intricate geometric patterns. Large gold disks hang from her neck, and a tall headpiece engraved with glyphs adorns her head. Her voice is warm and husky with age.

History

Pakal met with the explorers after the seal at Matzalantli was opened in 5 Dawn Era.

Trivia

• Pakal means "shield" in several Mayan languages, and appears in the names of many Maya rulers, notably Kʼinich Janaabʼ Pakal.
