The Weeping Bosk is a grove by the Wanderbrine River where Rhys received his yew magic training from Colfenor. The bosk is a secluded refuge surrounded by towering trees.[1]
History
The Weeping Bosk was the home of Colfenor the Red Yew for hundreds of years. When the young elf Rhys came to train in the use of yew-magic, Colfenor at first delighted in his abilities, but then became disappointed when Rhys decided to use his magic skills in service of the Wilt Leaf instead of fostering the treefolk seedlings. After Colfenor's death in the kithkin doun of Kinscaer, and the subsequent split in the Fae factions, the bosk started growing rows of green vine stalks carrying growing buds. When ripe, the buds burst open with living, breathing faeries - the first time Lorwyn-Shadowmoor had witnessed such a spectacle outside Glen Elendra since the birth of Oona.[1]
