Mezlok's Challenge
Mezlok, under the guidance of Taishiar, hoped to compete in a contest of mages on Mirrankkar. Due to a run-in with a rival on Obsidias, they arrived the day before the contest and had only that day to find a city or town that would accept him to duel for them.
A child led them to the village of Gordahn, where the chief offered him the spot of duelist that had been occupied for ten years by their village warder Jedaht.
