Planet is a nonbasic land type used for cards that depict celestial body moving in an elliptical orbit round a star. It was introduced in Edge of Eternities.[1]
Description
Planet doesn't have any rules or functionality tied to it[2] , but the Planets released so far all have Station. Planets enter tapped and can be used to produce mana of the appropriate type.
The station cost (N+) is visible in a circle lower left of the text box of the card frame. Once a set threshold of charge counters is placed on them, Planets gain an additional ability. Unlike most Spacecraft, they don't become creatures.
