The Infinity Stones are six immensely powerful gem-like objects that embody and control essential aspects of existence. They grant whoever wields them various powers in accordance to the aspect they represent, and when all six are held together, grant their wielder infinite power.
Terminus Stones
Terminus Stones are large glowing objects that can be found on isolated locations in the landscape. They feature engravings or runes, are implied to exist since the dawn of time ("Origin"), and mark a certain boundary ("Terminus)".
History
Stone once was a token creature type released in Mirage (created by the Basalt Golem) before being made obsolete and errated to be a Wall.
Through the years, many artifacts have been depicted as stones. Lorewise, "Powerstones" were enigmatic gems once utilized to power countless Thran devices on Dominaria. Dominaria United saw the introduction of the Powerstone artifact type.
In contrast to Infinity, Stone could have more universal applications and be used in non-Marvel sets.[3]
The rest of the Infinity Stones will be featured in upcoming Marvel sets.[4] Associated Through the Omenpaths sets will feature the equivalent Terminus Stones.
