Boss is a supplemental card type representing a selection of rogues rogues from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise, featured in the Magic: The Gathering Turtle Team-Up product released in 2026.[1] These crime bosses, or mob bosses, are often leaders of a criminal organizations. The card type will presumably not be legal in regular Magic nor be mentioned in the Comprehensive Rules.
Description

Similar to Hero cards, Boss cards are physical cards that have Magic-like abilities, but aren't playable as regular Magic cards. They aren't creatures, don't have a mana cost and no Power/Toughness.
The Bosses are introduced as part of the self-running Enemy Deck in the Turtle Team-Up product.[1] There will be eleven cards with the type. They usually provide advantages to creatures in the deck, card draw or disadvantages to the "heroes", their opponents.
It is currently unknown if the Boss cards have a regular Magic card back.
