Mars is a non-canon plane subtype featured on several Planechase cards in Doctor Who.
Description
Mars (also known as Sol IV) is a planet in Earth's solar system, inhabited by various alien races over time such as the Gandorans, the Ice Warriors, the Martians, the Meercocks, a viral species known as the Flood, and at multiple points, by human colonists. The Ice Warriors are most referred to as Martians. They are a reptilian humanoid race created by the Gandorans as a slave warrior race before becoming independent after the Gandorans died off. A series of disasters on Mars later led to most of them dying out along with the planet itself becoming a wasteland. The Flood is a viral species that was once located on the planet and eventually became trapped inside a glacier. They needed a physical form to take on and could infect all biological life containing water turning them into possessed zombie horrors.
