Infinity is one of two used to represent the Infinity Stones of the Marvel universe along with the Stone type.[1][2] The rest of the Infinity Stones will be featured in upcoming Marvel sets.[3]
When initially previewed, it was ambiguous whether Infinity Stone was a two-word type, like Time Lord. It was quickly clarified that the two were separate types.[4]
In contrast to Stone, Infinity is restricted to use in Marvel sets.[5][6] The Magic IP equivalent, Terminus, was unveiled in Through the Omenpaths 1. This is however not covered by the Comprehensive Rules.

- The two functionally equivalent types have opposite meanings, with Terminus being the final point in space or time, while Infinity is considerably boundless or endless.
- Another explanation of the name is that Terminus Stones mark a certain boundary.
